Ukraine’s defense forces struck two Russian refineries in Orsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur, over 6,500 km from the border, a Wildberries warehouse, and dozens of targets in Russia and Crimea in the south of the country.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the night of August 11 struck the “Orsknefteorgsintez” refinery in the Orenburg region of Russia with a capacity of about 6 million tons of oil per year. A fire broke out at the facility, the scale of the damage is being clarified – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, according to the Telegram channel ASTRA, another large-scale fire occurred on August 11 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai, over 6,500 km from the Ukrainian border, at the Rosneft refinery, which is one of the main suppliers of oil products for the Russian Far East. Its design capacity is 8.5 million tons of oil per year.

In the night of August 11, in the village of Aleksandrovka, Novousmansky district, Voronezh region, drones attacked a large Wildberries logistics complex with an area of 152.9 thousand square meters. The complex is designed to store over 90 million product items – Khronikers. A fire broke out on the territory of the complex.

In the night of August 11, the Unmanned Systems Forces successfully operated against 43 military and energy facilities in temporarily occupied Crimea and in the south of the country – Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, Commander of the US.

Defense forces struck a Russian “Buk-M3” worth $45 million in the Luhansk region – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Fighters of the 12th separate brigade of the special forces “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine in the Dobropillya direction delivered a devastating strike with kamikaze drones on a large convoy of Russian occupiers in the enemy’s rear – 12th Separate Brigade of Special Forces “Azov” of the National Guard.

  • Zaporizhzhia suffered a combined strike by drones and missiles: seven employees of Zaporizhstal were killed, and 24 more people were injured. The enterprise has been shut down. Infrastructure

Economy

Ecology

An emergency ecological situation has been recorded in the Kyiv region. First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held an online meeting with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi – Ministry of Energy. The parties discussed further coordination of actions for an independent assessment of risks and the state of critical energy infrastructure, as well as the development of additional measures to strengthen Ukraine’s nuclear safety.

Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha held telephone negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan. Sybiha informed his counterpart about the consequences of Russia’s recent attacks against Ukraine. From September 1, some defense industry enterprises may lose their critical status, and the reservation of their conscripted employees may be canceled. Ukraine is discussing a new grain export route through Moldova: Kyiv asked Chisinau to provide a 50% discount on railway tariffs for the transit of Ukrainian grain. Due to the destruction of refineries, problems in Russian business, and colossal expenses for the war, the deficit of the Russian state budget is already approaching 8.7 trillion rubles – twice as much as planned for the entire year – Reuters.

Before Putin’s arrival in Novosibirsk, residents of houses along the route of the cortege were asked not to go outside, not to approach the windows, and to remove their cars – Russian media.
